Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is excited to once again host its residential program following a successful summer at three Yale residential dormitories: Pierson, Davenport, and Jonathan Edwards College. Last June marked the program’s first return to campus since 2019, and it was an incredible success, bringing together 1,800 students from 150 countries (including 50+ U.S. states and territories).

YYGS is one of the most globally diverse, accessible pre-college programs in the world, annually receiving over 7,500 applications from students representing 175+ countries, and distributing over $3 million in need-based financial aid equally to U.S. domestic and international students.
Throughout June, July and August 2024, the Yale summer program will offer twelve academic sessions ranging from literature and philosophy to the biological sciences. During each two-week session, participants will experience life as a university student by attending Yale faculty lectures, residing in historic dormitories, and forging friendships from across the globe.
Interested students can apply by the Early Action deadline to receive a discounted application fee. If the fee poses a financial burden, students can submit a fee waiver to reduce the application fee to $0 USD.
