Yale Young Global Scholars [1] (YYGS) is excited to once again host its residential program following a successful summer at three Yale residential dormitories: Pierson, Davenport, and Jonathan Edwards College. Last June marked the program’s first return to campus since 2019, and it was an incredible success, bringing together 1,800 students from 150 countries (including 50+ U.S. states and territories).

YYGS is one of the most globally diverse, accessible pre-college programs in the world, annually receiving over 7,500 applications from students representing 175+ countries, and distributing over $3 million in need-based financial aid [2] equally to U.S. domestic and international students.

Throughout June, July and August 2024, the Yale summer program will offer twelve academic sessions [3] ranging from literature and philosophy to the biological sciences. During each two-week session, participants will experience life as a university student by attending Yale faculty lectures, residing in historic dormitories, and forging friendships from across the globe.

Interested students can apply by the Early Action deadline to receive a discounted application fee. If the fee poses a financial burden, students can submit a fee waiver to reduce the application fee to $0 USD.
