“YYGS brings together students from all around the world, and I loved getting the chance to get to know them and be inspired by their ideas and perspectives. Albeit online, the Yale spirit and the love for learning that each student brought with them to their Zoom meetings made it feel as though there were no screens to separate us at all.”

When I was a freshman in high school, I founded my school’s literary magazine, the “MSF Fox Tales” to create a safe space for student artists to take the first step and publish their poetry, artwork and prose. The Fox Tales are a student publication dedicated to sharing the work of student artists in our community and amplify their voices by bringing their work to a large audience online and in print.

We’re an eight person team, each issue is about 40 pages long, we publish 1-2x a year and we manage all our finances ourselves. We feature students, teacher, parents and alumni, and are currently working with other international schools in the wider Frankfurt community to showcase how our art has changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
