From my time at YYGS I found my passion for international affairs and politics. This passion motivated me to start a research project looking into the effects of educational policies across the 38 states of India. With the help of Professor William Ascher at Claremont Mckenna College, I have come up with a list of the surprisingly successful and surprising unsuccessful Indian states based on their individual statistics in order to determine which states have the best educational policies. With this data that I collected, I am working towards writing an academic thesis paper on the topic.
