Bio

Zeva R. Manvi (née Levine) is the Director of Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) & Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS). Zeva has spent her career working in educational access nonprofits that focus on empowering low-income, first generation to college students and their families and communities. Prior to joining the staff as Associate Director of Admissions for YYGS in 2018, she served as the Member Services Senior Associate for the National Partnership for Educational Access (NPEA). She has also held positions as the Director of Academic Services at Philadelphia Futures and the Coordinator of Service & Education programs at Dartmouth College. Zeva earned her B.A. in philosophy and political science from Beloit College and her Ed.M. in human development & psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
