Bio

Gaye Kim is the Social Science Program Manager and former Asia Program Manager for the Yale Young Global Scholars Program. Prior to joining YYGS, Gaye worked as a program coordinator at the Yale School of Management, handling Asia and non-Asia programs. Before coming to Yale, she co-founded a consulting business and served as a legislative aide for the Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs & Unification Committee of the Korean National Assembly.

She received her bachelor’s degree in international politics from Peking University and dual master’s degrees in international commerce and public policy from Seoul National University and the University of Tokyo. She has worked and lived extensively in Asia, and is fluent in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.
