Bio

Ami Sobin (formerly Shah) is the Associate Director of External Affairs for Yale Young Global Scholars with some responsibility for the Yale Young African Scholars Program and YYGS-Beijing. Prior to her current position, she worked as a communications officer in the Office of International Affairs managing country specific enewsletters,  the Yale and World website, YaleGlobal Online communications, and heavy marketing for the Yale Publishing Course. Earlier in her career, she was a project coordinator for Certificates of Origin at the International Chamber of Commerce, World Chambers Federation in Paris, France. She received her Masters of Global Communications from the American University of Paris and, during this time, she had the opportunity to study and volunteer with an NGO in India.
