YYGS has made me more confident and open minded. I find myself doing more critical thinking and voicing my ideas.
I worked on launching an exhibition for a new club in my school. It was not my idea alone, but the idea of the club as a whole. We agreed that the Public Speaking Club needed to showcase how much we had grown since the day we launched the club. The club didn’t have many members; we were just nine at the time, so everyone’s vote counted to determine whether or not the launch would take place. To be honest, what I believe motivated us all was the thrill of doing something new. We were all excited to do something different from the usual club meetings, and the zeal that we showed in preparing for the exhibition definitely contributed to how well the it came out. I worked with my class mates and the secretary of our school.
