The simulation project was also one of my favorite experiences. My group and I started a non-profit that provides support for substance abuse recovery, and we are still running it today. My simulation group and I have been able to provide support and resources for thousands of people and we hope to continue to do so!
My initiative is a non-profit called Beyond the Needle. I am currently working with my YYGS simulation group to keep our non-profit alive and running. We have accumulated thousands of followers and have been able to provide support and resources for anyone who comes looking. Attached in the bio of our Instagram is a link to our handmade website where we provide additional resources and information for people who are interested. We are very motivated to help as many people as possible with our page and website and we hope to continue to be a source of hope for our communities.
