“I was also amazed by the theoretical topics presented in lectures, seminars and research showcases. I have always been interested in the universe and its mysteries, but being able to join a seminar about Einstein’s Relativity and Time Travel, as well as a lecture on The Puzzle of the First Black Holes, particularly broadened my knowledge and aroused my curiosity.”

I launched a startup focused on connecting students for educational success. After YYGS, I decided to share my experience with other students in my community. I made videos about the program itself and what I most liked about it for MAIS’ website. Since many people were interested in applying for YYGS, I had the idea of creating a mentorship group consisting of YYGS alumni  to help other students apply for the program.

I texted some YYGS alumni friends and they volunteered as mentors. Through this mentoring we expect to help other students achieve their goals and show everyone that big change starts with a great idea and a lot of determination.
