SGC 2021
At YYGS one was introduced to new perspectives and alternative ways of thinking every day.
Since leaving YYGS, my political engagement has grown, mostly because of my new insight that the impact we humans have on this earth is significant, no matter its size. Before the program, I was a member of the Swedish Center Party’s youth association (CUF) and attended a few online events with people from the Stockholm district. After interacting with people representing different views and backgrounds at YYGS, my fear of expressing myself incorrectly in social situations was reduced, and I am now able to step out of my comfort zone, communicating my views, in front of small as well as large groups of people.
