“The YYGS experience gave me much, in both scientific knowledge and human connection.
I have taken part in ASE 2019 because I wanted to cultivate my passion for sciences and deepen my knowledge. I was surprised by how interactive Classes were, and I still remember my favourite: “How do I decide”. The fact that people do not always make the most rational decision surprised me, and now I am considering studying Behavioural Economics in the future.”
Once I came back from Yale I enrolled in a non-profit organization called “Croce Bianca” (White Cross) who offers ambulance and medical service to those who are in need and cannot afford one. It is a physically and emotionally tiring job, especially after an entire day of school, but seeing the smile and the gratitude of the people I am helping warms my heart and does make it worth the effort.
