“During YYGS, I was amazed by the number of diverse stories and viewpoints that everyone shared. I got a snapshot of the world that fits directly with our liberal arts curriculum.”
As a result, I applied recently to become a Canadian Trade Ambassador on the Canada-Peru Trade Mission with Global Vision and the Embassy of Canada.
Through a Canada-wide competition, I was selected as one of the few to represent Canadian culture & trade abroad on an economic & cultural mission to Lima, Peru in order to bridge people to people ties.
During this trip from Feb 11-21, 2020, I’m representing local businesses and culture and having meetings with the Canadian Ambassador to Peru as well as numerous Peruvian CEOs and schools.
