PLE 2021

My favorite lecture was taught by Professor Odd Arne Westad where he educated us on the development of China as a global superpower from the Xing Dynasty all the way to our current epoque. I admired his detailed explanation and his ability to merge history and economics to produce a main point as well as his drawn connections.

With the help of my passion in cooking and my applied learning from lecturers at YYGS, I intend on selling a variety of various nutritious confectionaries and savory dishes at affordable prices, while paying heed to profit margins and the detrimental effects of the COVID - 19 pandemic to my society. Moreover, providing for larger cafes would ensure that I am able to achieve the aim of providing for underprivileged societies. This original initiative stemmed from the advice provided by the impact panel at YYGS and was further propelled by members of my family who encouraged me to take it on. For the time being, I would be handling this initiative alone.
