Ahaan Palla

This summer, I volunteered at Watoto Wetu Tanzania, an orphanage in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I am teaching English as well as computer skills. I am also doing a fundraising effort, where I am holding photography sessions for people and donating the money towards the orphanage. When I visited here, I was inspired to do this because I saw the social inequality there was for kids who were trying to get a good education. The initiative launched two years ago, but I visited again and am fundraising this summer.
