Nearly 20 Alumni Return to Campus as YYGS Instructors

May 1, 2023

Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is excited to announce that nearly 20 past participants will return as YYGS instructors during this summer’s residential program. Instructors design and teach seminars based on their personal area of interest and expertise. Past seminar topics include, “Memory from Embryo to Embry-old,” “Beards, Bobs, and Afros: Hair and Power in American History,” and “Fast Fashion, Consumer Ethics, and Global Supply Chains.”

The following alumni instructors attended YYGS between 2015-2021, and they are teaching in one of four academic tracks this summer: Innovations in Science & Technology; Literature, Philosophy & Culture; Politics, Law & Economics; and Solving Global Challenges. YYGS is thrilled to invite alumni back to campus, and we are especially excited to welcome instructors who attended YYGS Online during the pandemic and will visit Yale College for the first time.
