Daniel Tam-Claiborne is the Asia Program Manager for the Yale Young Global Scholars Program. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Creative Writing and East Asian Studies and from Yale University with an M.A. in Global Affairs. He has three years of living and working experience in China as the recipient of both a Shansi Fellowship and a Gruber Fellowship in Global Justice and Women’s Rights. His first book of fiction, entitled What Never Leaves and based on his travels and work in Asia, was published in 2012 by Wilder Voice Books.
