The Year 11 student spent her school holidays at the prestigious university’s Yale Young Scholars Global Program.
She was just one of three Australian students selected to attend.
“Academically it was a very vigorous environment and, combined with the opportunity to meet students from all over the world, it was a once in a lifetime experience,” she said.
Sophia heard lectures by several internationally renowned academics on topics that focused on American legal principals, economic ideas and government.
Her trip was made possible through sponsorship provided by the Castle Hill RSL, Baulkham Hills accounting firm Crowe Horwath and ANZ Lending Castle Hill.
